Miley Cyrus Confirms Works on Next Studio Album

Miley Cyrus has begun work on her next studio album. The eighth album to be released by the singer, this album will follow her hit rock inspired album, Plastic Hearts.

Columbia Records confirmed the news to Billboard, while Cyrus penned an open letter to her fans letting them know she has begun work on the new project. Cyrus told fans, “I am so thankful for your loyal support + great company on this ride of my life! There has been intense spurts of change in my life personally + professionally (which always co-exist). I am so [excited] to channel these experiences + use them as inspiration in my next body of work! I am so grateful to never go through these transitional times alone because I have [you]!”

The letter was released on her MileyWorld website and also released was her performance from the ACL Festival earlier this month. In the letter, Miley revealed that her setlist from the festival “…represents my evolution! It honors + celebrates every era! They are all so special to me! Mostly because you have been a part of it! Can’t wait to create the next one for/with you! I love you forever!”

I am so excited to see what she has in store for us! Plastic Hearts was such a great album and I know she is going to kill it with the next one.
