Ruby Rose Reveals Real Reason Behind her Batwoman Departure

Ruby Rose is calling out the team behind her former CW show, Batwoman. Rose took to her Instagram last night, October 19, to call out former Warner Bros. TV executive Peter Roth, showrunner Caroline Dries, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter of the show’s production company Berlanti Productions, and her former costar Dougray Scott for the horrific conditions she had to work in while on set and the real reason she left the show.

Rose wrote about Roth, “Not sure if you left after getting promoted to the highest position because you just couldn’t stop making young women steam your pants, around your crotch while you were still wearing said pants or if you left after putting a private investigator on me who you fired as soon as the report didn’t fit your narrative, either way. When it comes to you, there’s already an army waiting for u.”

She went on to say she was forced to return to work 10 days after her surgery because if she didn’t they would “recast her role” and “cost the studios millions”. She also said she had to witness numerous horrific things including a crew member suffering 3rd degree burns, and Dries only showed up to set four or five times during her time as Batwoman.
