Take Your First Look at Echo in New TV Spot for Disney’s Hawkeye

A brand new TV spot for Disney+’s Hawkeye aired last night, October 19 on ABC. The TV spot featured our first look at Alaqua Cox as Marvel comic character, Echo.

For those who don’t know, Maya Lopez, aka Echo, is a deaf athlete who has photographic reflexes. This means that she can perfectly copy a person’s movements. She is the adoptive daughter of Marvel villain, The Kingpin and typically paints a white handprint on her face. As you can see in the video, she does not have the handprint on her face.

The first two episodes of the series will drop on Disney+ on November 24. I have to wonder if she will be introduced as a villain in the beginning of the season only to end the season with being a good guy. That is how her story unfolds in the comics except it is Daredevil that helps her right her ways.
