Brendan Fraser to Play the Villain in HBO Max’s Batgirl

HBO Max’s Batgirl has found its villain. Brendan Fraser is set to play the unidentified villain in the new DC Comics adaptation.

Deadline is reporting, “sources believe Fraser would play the supervillain Firefly in the pic”. For those who do not know, there are two different versions of the villain Firefly in the comics. Pre-Crisis on Infinite Earths‘ Firefly is a criminal who uses lighting effects to commit robberies. Post-Crisis on Infinite Earths‘ Firefly is a pyromaniac who loves to start fires.

Leslie Grace is set to play our lead Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl. I am going to guess it will be the Post-Crisis on Infinite Earths Firefly in the movie, but this is just an assumption.
