Ariana Grande To Join Cynthia Erivo In The Film Adaptation Of Wicked
Ariana Grande will soon be living out her Broadway dreams! The singer is set to star as Galinda in the upcoming film adaptation of Wicked.
Director of the upcoming film, John M. Chu, announced the exciting news earlier today, November 4. Ariana will be joined by the amazing Cynthia Erivo, who will be playing Elphaba, in the upcoming flick.
For those who don’t know anything about the musical or the novel by Gregory Maguire, this film will tell the untold story about the two witches of Oz before, during, and after Dorothy’s visit. Wicked is set to go into production next year and will hit theaters in 2023.
