Finn Wolfhard Opens Up About His Band The Aubreys, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, & More With NME
Finn Wolfhard sat down with NME to promote a variety of different projects. The young actor/singer as quite a few things set to be released in the next few weeks, including his band The Aubreys’ debut album and the release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Highlights from his interview are below.
On how splitting his original band, Calpurnia, helped his experience with The Aubreys: “It shaped how music should be, what it should feel like [for me]. It should feel fun and it should be a release – a thing that you can escape to and feel like you have a voice and feel like you’re collaborating with people.”
On landing a role in Ghostbusters: Afterlife: “My dad would quote it all the time. It was a huge part of growing up. Being in the new one doesn’t feel real, I still haven’t figured it out yet.”
On the new season of Stranger Things: “The Duffer Brothers are at a point where, as the characters grow our audiences grows with them. That’s really nice and we can start to get a little more scary and kind of horror-related. There are a lot more gross things, for sure.”
