Viola Davis, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Gillian Anderson Look Amazing in First Stills from Showtime’s The First Lady

Entertainment Weekly has released the first look at Showtime’s new series, The First Lady and the photos are amazing! Viola Davis, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Gillian Anderson are set to play our leading first ladies, Michelle Obama, Betty Ford, and Eleanor Roosevelt

In the East Wing of the White House, many of history’s most impactful and world-changing decisions have been hidden from view, made by America’s charismatic, complex and dynamic first ladies. This series will peel back the curtain on the personal and political lives of these enigmatic women, with season one focusing on Eleanor Roosevelt, Betty Ford and Michelle Obama.

The ladies are joined in the series by Dakota Fanning (Susan Ford), Lexi Underwood (Malia Obama), and Eliza Scanlen (Young Eleanor Roosevelt). The series will premiere on Showtime on in the Spring of 2022!
