Grant Gustin Nearing Deal to Return for Ninth Season of The Flash

Grant Gustin is nearing a deal to return for The Flash’s upcoming ninth season. The show is currently in its eighth season on the CW, and if does sign the new contract, the CW will definitely be renewing the show for a ninth season.

Deadline is reporting Gustin has signed a one year deal locking him in for only 15 episodes, earning $200,000 per episode. None of Gustin’s reps have confirmed the news, but we should be hearing something relatively soon.

I’m not sure how I feel about a ninth season of The Flash. I feel like this season could be the perfect way to end the series or begin to transition the show to Barry and Iris’ children, Bart (Jordan Fisher) and Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy).
