Halle Bailey Joins The Cast Of The Color Purple

Halle Bailey has landed her next film role! The young actress/singer is set to star in the film adaptation of the musical, The Color Purple.

Oprah announced that cast late yesterday, February 4, and revealed that Halle would be playing Nettie in the upcoming adaptation. Production is suppose to start on the film in Georgia next month with Halle being joined by Fantasia Taylor, Colman Domingo, Taraji P. Henson, Danielle Brooks, Corey Hawkins, and H.E.R.

This cast and this musical is going to be amazing!
