Selena Gomez & Millie Bobby Brown Land On Allure’s The A List

Selena Gomez and Millie Bobby Brown have landed on Allure‘s “The A List”. This annual list from the outlet, recognizes individuals who are changing the future of beauty for the better. For Selena, it’s her brand Rare Beauty that is paving the way while Millie’s florence by mills looks to be driving alongside it. Highlights from their separate interviews are below.

Selena on what she wants to be remembered for: “I don’t want to be someone that people look up to because I wear pretty dresses and I like to sing,” she says. “I want to be remembered as someone who cares. I care a lot — and that’s what I want to do with my platform.”

Millie on creating florence by mills: “The brand was truly my vision. I didn’t want to make [the products] too complicated. I really wanted pastel colors [for the packaging]; nothing too bright. I wanted to draw people’s eyes, but also make them feel relaxed. [Choosing the packaging] was probably one of my favorite moments in creating the brand. And I also love naming the products. I named a shade in an eye shadow palette Bethnal Green because that’s where my grandmother lived [in London] her whole life. It holds a very special place in my heart.”
