Hulu Unveils Premiere Date For Andrew Garfield Lead Limited Series, Under the Banner of Heaven

Hulu has announced the premiere date for their new FX limited series, Under the Banner of Heaven. This new creation, inspired by Jon Krakauer’s novel, Under the Banner of Heaven, stars Andrew Garfield and Daisy Edgar-Jones and will premiere its first two episodes on April 28.

This new series, “…follows the events that led to the 1984 murder of Brenda Wright Lafferty (Edgar-Jones) and her baby daughter in a suburb in the Salt Lake Valley, Utah. As Detective Jeb Pyre (Garfield) investigates events that transpired within the Lafferty family, he uncovers buried truths about the origins of the LDS religion and the violent consequences of unyielding faith. What Pyre, a devout Mormon, unearths leads him to question his own faith.”
