HBO Max Announces Straight To Series Order For THE PENGUIN

Fans of Matt Reeves’ Penguin, from The Batman, can look forward to getting to know the character even better! HBO Max has given a straight-to-series order to THE PENGUIN (working title), with Colin Farrell set to reprise the role of the Gotham villain.

In a recent press release from HBO Max, “The series is executive produced by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell, and Lauren LeFranc, who writes and serves as showrunner.” Farrell spoke about returning to the role in said press release stating, “The world that Matt Reeves created for The Batman is one that warrants a deeper gaze through the eyes of Oswald Cobblepot. I couldn’t be more excited about continuing this exploration of Oz as he rises through the darkened ranks to become The Penguin. Will be good to get him back on the streets of Gotham for a little madness and a little mayhem.”

No production date of potential release date has been announced as of yet for the series, but we will keep you informed as we learn more.
