Josh Peck Joins Star-studded Oppenheimer Cast

Josh Peck has joined the cast of Oppenheimer! Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, Peck joins already announced Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Benny Safdie. Josh Hartnett, Rami Malek, Jack Quaid, Michael Angarano, Alden Ehrenreich, Kenneth Branagh, and Matthew Modine.

Peck is set to play Kenneth Bainbridge, a “ real scientist who was involved in the Manhattan Project, the codename for America’s effort to develop nuclear weapons during the second world war.”

Production on the movie is currently underway in New Mexico. The movie will be released on July 21, 2023.
