Aimee Carrero Exits The Boys Spin-Off & Joins The Consultant

Aimee Carreo has exited one Amazon series only to jump to another Amazon series. Carreo will no longer be starring in Prime Video’s The Boys spin-off but will now be starring in The Consultant.

Inspired by Bentley Little’s 2015 novel, The Consultant is a darkly comedic workplace thriller that explores the sinister relationship between boss and employee, asking how far we will go to get ahead, and to survive.

Deadline is reporting that she and Shane Paul McGhie, who also departed the series, departures stemmed from a variety of factors, including the long process to get the spinoff to production with the actors attached for over a year while other acting opportunities presented themselves, as well as changes from the original version of the project the actors had signed up for.

Carrero will star in the series alongside Christoph Waltz and Nat Wolff. I wonder if they changed her character like they did McGhie’s?
