Cole Sprouse Lands On The Cover Of FLAUNT
Cole Sprouse is featured on the latest issue of FLAUNT magazine. The young actor is on the cover to promote his new film, MOONSHOT. Highlights from his interview below.
On his love of Adam Sandler’s work: “I really do admire Sandler’s career because I think it’s perfect. You can tell there’s no ego to it. He’s got this beautiful commercial career that he’s built and he supports his entire network of friends with. And he’s got this really awesome, independent career, this art, and commerce that he’s built.”
On fan culture: “I think idolatry is ugly. I think fanaticism is ugly. I think appreciation is beautiful, though. I don’t know if celebrity culture or fame culture conditions people to appreciate rather than idolize. I think if it were a culture of appreciation, and empathy and understanding, it would be an easier pill for me to swallow. The real privilege is not having to do any of that. The most important thing that I can have would be privacy. To maintain the allure of that privacy for myself is the ultimate privilege.”
