Beanie Feldstein Sits Down With Vogue To Promote Funny Girl
Beanie Feldstein caught up with Vogue while in the midst of rehearsals for her new Broadway show, Funny Girl. The young actress is starring as Fanny Brice, the role originated by Barbra Streisand, in the revival of the hit musical. Highlights from her interview are below.
On how she relates to Fanny: “I think the thing I most relate to in Fanny is her passion. From the beginning of her life, she was incredibly clear about what she wanted”.
On her parents setting boundaries for acting as a child: “My parents set a boundary. ‘If it’s theater, you’re allowed to audition for it, but if it’s film or television, that could change the course of your life.'”
