Walker Scobell Cast As Percy Jackson In New Disney+ Series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Disney+ has found their Percy Jackson! The streaming site announced today, April 11, that Walker Scobell would be playing Percy in the upcoming TV adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
According to Deadline, “Scobell will star as Percy Jackson in the series, which follows a 12-year-old modern demigod, who’s just coming to terms with his newfound supernatural powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. Now Percy must trek across America to find it and restore order to Olympus.”
The site goes on to say that production is set to begin this summer with hopes of releasing next year!
