Letitia Wright Premieres The Silent Twins At Cannes
Letitia Wright made her Cannes Film Festival debut last night, May 24. The young actress was on hand to premiere her new film, The Silent Twins, at the prestigious film festival alongside her costars.
Letitia, who rocked a beautiful Fendi ensemble, has been in Cannes for the past few days to promote her latest project while also attending numerous events for the festival. Letitia’s new film follows June and Jennifer Gibbons, who are twins from the only Black family in a small town in Wales in the 1970s and ’80s. Feeling isolated from the community, the pair turn inward and reject communication with everyone but each other, retreating into their own fantasy world of inspiration and adolescent desires. After a spree of vandalism, the girls are sentenced to Broadmoor, an infamous psychiatric hospital, where they face the choice to separate and survive or die together.”
After a positive reaction from the screening last night, viewers are hoping to receive release date soon.
