Candice Patton Signs On for The Flash Season 9

Candice Patton will be returning for The Flash’s ninth season. The star has officially signed a new deal to return as Iris West-Allen in the new season.

Patton will join Grant Gustin and Danielle Panabaker as they only original series regulars returning for the season. Jesse L. Martin will be stepping down as a series regular at the end of this season, while Carlos Valeds and Tom Cavanagh stepped down as series regulars in 2021.

I’m hoping Jordan Fisher and Jessica Parker Kennedy will be made series regulars in the ninth season after tomorrow’s (June 28) finale, but we shall see. I’m just glad that Candice will be back!
