BB Joins House Targaryen At HBO’s House of the Dragon: The Dragon’s Den SDCC Offsite

BeautifulBallad had the wonderful opportunity to drop by HBO’s activation, House of the Dragon: The Dragon’s Den, at San Diego Comic Con this evening, July 20. Based on the upcoming series from the network, attendees will get the chance to head into the Dragonstone to hatch their very own dragon egg.

This activation is another quick one, but is completely immersive before you even enter the Dragonstone. To begin with, HBO asks that you download the app, The House of the Dragon: DracARys, before entering the activation. And while you wait to enter activation, there are villagers from Westeros walking around to chat with you about the comings and goings in the land.

Once you actually enter the activation, you are lead into a variety of different rooms, where you will learn whether or not you have what it takes to raise a dragon. The experience is quick, but very immersive, and made up of some amazing sets. The whole experience is capped off with a picture on the iron throne and a small gift.

Overall, this activation was a lot of fun, and if you are up on your Game Of Thrones knowledge, the experience is even better. As for the recommended app, it is not necessarily needed to complete the activation, but if you want the full experience at the end, it’s best to have it all setup.
