Netflix Greenlights The Gray Man Sequel and Spin-Off

The Gray Man franchise is expanding! Netflix announced today, July 26, that the movie, which was released to the streaming giant this past Friday, July 22, will be getting a sequel and a spin-off.

The sequel is now in development with star Ryan Gosling and directors Joe and Anthony Russo set to return. The Russos and AGBO’s Mike Larocca will produce along with Joe Roth and Jeffrey Kirschenbaum for Roth Kirschenbaum Films.

Details on the spin-off are being kept underwraps but I am going to guess it will have to deal with Chris Evans’ character Lloyd or Ana de Armas’ Dani.

Honestly, I don’t think it was the right move by Netflix to expand this franchise but to each their own. Are you guys excited for the new content?
