A New Team is Announced for Marvel’s Thunderbolts
Marvel announced the cast of its new movie, Thunderbolts today, September 10 during its presentation at the D23 Expo. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige not only released the first concept art for the movie at the presentation, but also invited the cast out on stage.
Cast members in attendance for the presentation were Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Sebastian Stan (James “Bucky” Barnes/The Winter Soldier) and Wyatt Russell (John Walker/U.S. Agent). The esteemed team also features stars Olga Kurylenko (Taskmaster) and Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova)—Pugh, who recorded a greeting for the D23 Expo audience.
Thunderbolts will open in theaters on July 26, 2024. I really hope we get to hear Bucky talk about his apparent connect to Natasha with Yelena. That was a thread never touched upon after it was mentioned in Captain America: Civil War and I need it answered!
