Wicked Finds Its Fiyero in Jonathan Bailey
Jon M. Chu has found his Fiyero! Olivier Award winner Jonathan Bailey will portray the character in the upcoming movie adaptation of Wicked.
He will join already cast Cynthia Erivo (Elphaba) and Ariana Grande (Glinda). Preparations for the new film are currently underway in London.
I think this is perfect casting! I am going to guess we will hear more casting news over the next couple of weeks since production is supposed to begin this Fall. Here’s hoping they cast more Broadway/West End stars!
