Hugh Jackman To Reprise Wolverine In Deadpool 3

Hugh Jackman will be returning to the role of Wolverine in the upcoming Deadpool movie, Deadpool 3. Ryan Reynolds, who plays the Marvel character, announced the exciting news earlier today, September 27.

Jackman has played the X-Men hero numerous times over the last decade, when FOX owned the rights to the character. However, when Disney took over the rights a few years ago, fans were unsure if Jackman’s version would make its way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now they have an official confirmation from Deadpool and Wolverine themselves.

What’s even more interesting than Jackman returning to his Marvel roots, is actor John Krasinski’s response to the big announcement. The actor retweeted the announcement with the caption, “Wait… is this our movie?” This has caused fans to go even more into a tizzy because Krasinski just originated the Marvel Cinematic Universes’ role of Reed Richards in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Now, fans are theorizing that Krasinski’s Richards will appear as well. However, Krasinski is working with Reynolds on his next project, If, so he is most likely refernecing that project in his tweet.

As we all know with the MCU, nothing is confirmed until the movie hits theaters. Until then, we will have to wait and see.
