Jennifer Lawrence Discusses Her Acting Career & Causeway With The New York Times

Jennifer Lawrence sat down with The New York Times to promote her new film, Causeway. Jennifer plays a U.S. soldier struggling with returning home in this new film for Apple TV+. Highlights from her interview are below.

On her reaction to the casting announcement for the Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes: “That makes me feel old as mold. I remember being 21 and thinking, ‘My God, one day they’ll redo and remake them. But I’ll be so old by then! I’ll be dead!'”.

On deciding to be a part of the 2016 film, Passengers: “Everything was like a rebound effect. I was reacting, rather than just acting. I felt like more of a celebrity than an actor, cut off from my creativity, my imagination”.

You can check out more from her interview here. Causeway will premiere on the streaming site and in theaters on November 4.
