Auli’i Cravalho Cast in Paramount+’s Mean Girls Musical

Auli’i Cravalho has joined the cast of Paramount+’s movie adaptation of Mean Girls the musical. Cravalho is set to play Janis in the new movie.

She will be joined, so far, in the movie by Angourie Rice, Reneé Rapp, and Jaquel Spivey, who are set to play Cady, Regina, and Damian. Rapp is set to reprise the role of Regina after playing her on Broadway while Cravalho, Rice, and Spivey will be taking on the roles for the very first time.

No word on who else will be joining the cast, but we can only assume that more casting announcements will be made in the coming weeks. Production on it is set to begin in 2023.
