Abby Ryder Fortson Attends Trailer Launch Event for Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret

Abby Ryder Fortson attend the trailer launch event for her new movie, Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret in New York City today, January 11. Held at The Crosby Street Hotel, Fortson was joined at the event by Writer/Director Kelly Fremon Craig, Costume Designer Ann Roth, author Judy Blume, costar Benny Safdie, and Prodcuer James L. Brooks.

In the movie, “11-year-old Margaret (Abby Ryder Fortson) is uprooted from her life in New York City for the suburbs of New Jersey, going through the messy and tumultuous throes of puberty with new friends in a new school. She relies on her mother, Barbara (Rachel McAdams), who is also struggling to adjust to life outside the big city, and her adoring grandmother, Sylvia (Kathy Bates), who isn’t happy they moved away and likes to remind them every chance she gets.”

The movie will hit theaters on April 28. So, does this mean we will be getting the trailer this week or next?!
