James Gunn and Peter Safran Talk the Future of Superman & Lois
The future of Superman & Lois looks a little more hopeful today, January 31. DC Studios heads, James Gunn and Peter Safran, confirmed the series has “one to two more seasons” left in it.
The duo went on to say, “It’s a show everybody likes, so it’s going to keep going for a little bit.” Now, the question becomes, where will it be continuing. With the CW under new ownership, the show could stay on that network, but it also could get moved to HBO Max.
I am hoping that it does gets moved to HBO Max. With the CW only renewing 3 shows this television season, with one already being All-American, this only leaves two shows left. I say move it to HBO Max where they don’t have to worry about anyone but themselves renewing it.
They were also asked about Gotham Knights but remained mum on it. My guess is, this show isn’t seeing a second season.
