Javicia Leslie Joins the Cast of ABC’s New Crime Series

Javicia Leslie has landed a new role! The actress is set to join the ABC’s reboot of the French series, HPI (High Intellectual Potential).

Also starring Kaitlin Olson and Daniel Sunjata, the remake centers on Morgan (Olson), a single mom with three kids and an exceptional mind who helps solve an unsolvable crime when she rearranges some evidence during her shift as a cleaner for the police department. When they discover she has a knack for putting things in order because of her high intellectual potential she is brought on as a consultant to work with a by-the-book seasoned detective, Karadec (Sunjata), and together they form an unusual and unstoppable team.

Leslie is set to play Daphne in the drama pilot. Production on the pilot will begin in the next few weeks. A big congrats to Leslie on the new role. Here’s hoping it gets picked up by the network later this year!
