Netflix Greenlights ‘Stranger Things’ Animated Series

Stranger Things may be ending with its upcoming fifth season, but the world isn’t close to being done. Netflix has given the greenlight on a new Stranger Things animated series.

Details surrounding the new series are being kept under wraps, but we do know Executive Producer Eric Robles is developing the series. In a statement, The Duffer Brothers (creators of Stranger Things) said, “We’ve always dreamed of an animated Stranger Things in the vein of the Saturday morning cartoons that we grew up loving, and to see this dream realized has been absolutely thrilling. We couldn’t be more blown away by what Eric Robles and his team have come up with — the scripts and artwork are incredible, and we can’t wait to share more with you! The adventure continues,”
