Stars Attend the World Premiere of Disney+’s ‘American Born Chinese’

The World Premiere of American Born Chinese was held last night, May 7 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Academy® Award winners Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan were joined on the carpet by their fellow castmates Ben Wang, Yeo Yann Yann, Chin Han, Daniel Wu, Jimmy Liu and Sydney Taylor for the special event.

Based on the award-winning graphic novel by Gene Luen Yang, the show chronicles the trials and tribulations of a regular American teenager whose life is forever changed when he befriends the son of a mythological god. This is the story of a young man’s battle for his own identity, told through family, comedy, and action-packed Kung-Fu.

I love that Peyton Elizabeth Lee was also able to attend the premiere to support her Disney+ costars! American Born Chinese is set to premiere on Wednesday, May 24 on Disney+.
