The Jonas Brothers Chat The Album, Their Wives, & More With Bustle
The Jonas Brothers are featured in a new piece for BUSTLE. The trio sat down with the outlet to promote their upcoming album, The Album. Highlights from their interview are below.
Nick on how they have matured since their breakup: “We’ve gotten pretty used to needing to solve disputes or frustrations in environments where there’s tons of people around, because there’s always tons of people around. And most times it’s as simple as stepping into a different room so the three of us can just take a second to work it out. But honestly you know, we don’t fight that much. I think the older we get, the more exhausting it becomes to argue. So we just kind of concede.”
Kevin on their wives’ input on their music: “I think they’re all connected ecosystems. They’re our best friends and our sounding boards. I actually don’t show Danielle our tour staging before we go, because she likes to be surprised. I tried to tell her [some details] the other night and she was just like, ‘Nope.'”
Joe on the Jonas Brothers’ relationships with the Disney Channel crew: “Awards shows are like our high-school reunion every year. Whether it’s the Grammys or Billboards or Golden Globes or whatever, you see a lot of familiar faces, and it’s nice especially to see the class of ’08, ’09… The happiness and success that they’re finding, that’s kind of all we hoped for.”
