Halle Bailey Premieres The Little Mermaid In Mexico City

Halle Bailey attended the Mexico City premiere of her new film, The Little Mermaid, last night, May 11. Held at Parque Toreo, Halle was joined by her costar Javier Bardem for the special screening and fan event.

Based on the beloved animated Disney classic, this new film “The youngest of King Triton’s daughters, Ariel is a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. Longing to find out more about the world beyond the sea, Ariel visits the surface and falls for the dashing Prince Eric. Following her heart, she makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to experience life on land.”

The Little Mermaid opens in theaters on May 26.
