The Cast & Crew of Pixar’s ‘Elemental’ Attend Cannes Photocall

Peter Sohn (director), Denise Ream (producer) and Pete Docter (EP and CCO of Pixar) joined English-language voice talent Leah Lewis (Ember) and Mamoudou Athie (Wade) at the Cannes photo call for Pixar’s Elemental tonight, May 26 at the Cannes International Film Festival in France.

The group was joined at the photo call by French-language voice cast Adèle Exarchopoulos (Ember) and Vincent Lacoste (Wade) at Cannes’ iconic Carlton Beach for the photo session. Tomorrow, May 27, the cast and filmmakers will hit the Cannes carpet to not only premiere the new animated movie, but it will be the movie to close the 76th International Cannes Film Festival.

“Elemental is an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where Fire-, Water-, Earth- and Air-residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.”

The movie will open in theaters on June 16.
