The Winchesters Officially Canceled
To all of you who watched, followed, and supported this story, THANK YOU. And to all those who brought this show to life…I couldn’t be more proud of what we all did together. But as they say…timing is everything. With a massive Network shift coupled with an industry… pic.twitter.com/qqDD9WC0KA

After weeks of attempting to find a new home, The Winchesters is officially canceled. The show was canceled by the CW earlier this year, and the show was immediately shopped to other networks, but it couldn’t find a new home.
Executive Producer Jensen Ackles took to his Twitter earlier today, June 3, to share the news saying, “With a massive Network shift coupled with an industry strike…welp…that’s some unfortunate timing.”
The show was originally doing well on the CW, but the new owners of the network opted to not move forward with the show. Many fans were hoping one of the streamers would pick it up since it was doing so well, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
This show had such great potential. Meg Donnelly and Drake Rodger were fantastic in their roles as Mary and John Winchester. What a missed opportunity.
