Elle Fanning Joins Sarah Paulson in ‘I Am Sybil’

Elle Fanning has landed a new role. The actress is set to join Sarah Paulson in I Am Sybil.

Based on Debbie Nathan’s Sybil Exposed: The Extraordinary Story Behind the Famous Multiple Personality Case, book, Deadline is reporting, the film “explores the gripping true story behind the best-selling book and cultural-sensation case of Sybil, one of the first mainstream cases of dissociative identity disorder (or multiple personality disorder, as it was then known), which spurred questions in the public consciousness around identity and mental health.”

Fanning is rumored to be playing Sybil while Paulson is said to be playing Sibil’s psychologist Connie Wilbur. However, their roles have yet to be confirmed.
