‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem’ Takes Over Hall H at San Diego Comic Con

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem invaded San Diego Comic Con today, July 20. The first presentation to be shown in the coveted Hall H, the panel featured the movie’s director, Jeff Rowe and the co-creator of the Turtles, Kevin Eastman.

Audience members who sat in for the panel were given the first looks at the two videos you see in this post. The first is a little spot teasing on the movie everyone can’t stop talking about, Barbie, while the second is a clip from the movie introducing the mutants featured in the new animated pic.

Not shown in this post is the 20 minutes that guests were treated to during the panel. The 20 minutes were filled with a lot of laughs and some really interesting animation. As director, Jeff Rowe said during the panel, the focus of this movie is the teenage aspect to these characters. From the actors lending their voices to the core four to the animation, everything about the 20 minutes shown screamed teenager, and not in a bad way.

I really enjoyed the footage that was shown, more than I thought I would. I wasn’t overly excited for this take on the characters when it was first announced, but the more footage I’ve seen the more excited I get.

The movie will open in theaters on August 2!
