Liam Hemsworth Officially Takes On the Role of Geralt in ‘The Witcher’

Liam Hemsworth has officially taken over the role of Geralt in The Witcher. Hemsworth has taken over the role from Henry Cavill, who has played the character for the past three seasons.

Cavill made his departure as the character in the show’s Season 3 finale. Now Hemsworth will take over when the fourth season premieres, apparently next year.

The announcement of the role change came last year when it was announced that Cavill would be returning to play Superman in the DC Film Universe. That announcement was short lived as new DC Studios runner, James Gunn, quickly announced Cavill would not be returning. However, Netflix made the decision to stick with Hemsworth taking over the role Geralt.
