The Summer I Turned Pretty has been renewed for a third season! Prime Video announced the fantastic news today, August 3.

The second season of the show, which is based on the book by Jenny Han, premiered on the streaming network this past July. Han and Sarah Kucserka are set to return as showrunners for the new season.

The season 2 finale of The Summer I Turned Pretty is set to take place later this month, but production on season 3 is currently on hold. Production will not begin until the WGA strike and the SAG-AFTRA strike have concluded.
