Sophie Turner was spotted filming scenes for her new series, JOAN yesterday, August 15 and today, August 16 in England. Set in 1980s London, the series sees Joan Hannington (Turner) as a devoted mother to her six-year-old daughter, Kelly, while trapped in a disastrous marriage with a violent criminal named Gary. When Gary goes on the run, Joan seizes the opportunity to adopt new identities and embark on a high-stakes journey to create a new life for herself and Kelly.
This past Monday, August 14 was Sophie’s husband, Joe Jonas’ birthday. Jonas is currently on tour with his brothers, so Sophie was unable to spend the day celebrating with him. However, she did get to celebrate with him on the 13th in New York City.
