Maya Hawke Teams With Her Father, Ethan Hawke, To Cover Willie Nelson’s “We Don’t Run”

Maya Hawke has released a new song! The song is titled, “We Don’t Run”, which is a cover of the hit Willie Nelson song of the same name.

Maya is joined on the song by her father, and fellow actor, Ethan Hawke. In a recent social media post, Maya thanks Light in the Attic Records for allowing them to record the song. She states, “Thank you so much @lightintheatticrecords for inviting me and my dad to cover one of our favorite Willie Nelson songs as part of their collection, “Light in the Attic & Friends.” The whole record, out November 24th, features legendary artists like Iggy Pop and Angel Olsen covering songs the label has re-released over the past two decades.”
