New Details Emerge on Disney+’s ‘Tiana’

New details on Disney+’s Tiana series has been released. Based on the 2009 movie, Princess and the Frog, the new Disney+ series is set to be released on the streaming platform in 2024.

Variety is reporting Netflix’s Midhight Mass writer, Joyce Sherri is set to direct, and be the lead writer on the series. The series follows newly crowned Princess of Maldonia on a new adventure, but her New Orleans past isn’t far behind. Tiana will be the first Disney princess to have her own Walt Disney Animation Studios series.

Anika Noni Rose is set to reprise her role as Tiana! Here’s hoping we won’t have to wait until the end of 2024 for the show.
