Florence Pugh Covers Vogue Australia
Florence Pugh is on the cover of Vogue Australia. The actress is on the cover of the magazine’s upcoming November issue.
In the issue, Pugh talks finding a home in London, her first acting gig, her fame, the SAG-AFTRA strike, on staying as her loud, outspoken self, and so much more. Highlights can be found below.
On staying as her loud, outspoken self: “I want to continue shouting and being loud about my opinions and what’s wrong in the industry, what’s wrong with the treatment of women. But I also think with a term like [icon], you have to be very aware that you’re not going to be able to always do that. You are going to fail, and you are gonna just have to hope that you’re allowed to.”
On finding a home in London: “I’ve been someone who’s been living out of bags and promising myself that I’d have a base for so long. And of course, I’ve had wonderful homes I’d been living in and relationships I was in that gave me new possibilities of homes. But I haven’t had my base in London. So it was really nice to create that for myself.”
You can read her full interview here. I am assuming she was set to be on the cover to promote Dune: Part Two, which was originally supposed to come out October 20, 2023, before it was pushed back to November 17, 2023. Now, the film will not be released until March 15, 2024.
