The first teaser footage from Universal Pictures’ movie adaptation of Wicked has leaked. Starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, the footage features a better look at Grande as Glinda the Good and Erivo as Elphaba.

Fans also get to hear an extended clip of the duo singing the musical’s show stopping song, “Defying Gravity”. Part 1 of Wicked is set to be released on November 27 and Part 2 will be released on December 25, 2025.

Here’s my question. If Part 1 ends with “Defying Gravity”, what song are they going to use to promote Part 2? I’m guessing it will be “For Good”, but will that be enough to convince people to head to theaters for Part 2?
