Disney Releases Final Song from ‘Wish’ for “Wish Wednesday”
Walt Disney Animated has released the last song in its “Wish Wednesdays” campaign! The song is called, “Knowing What I Know Now,” and it is featured in the studio’s newest animated pic, Wish.
“Walt Disney Animation Studios Wish welcomes audiences to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force—a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe—the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico—to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.”
Featuring the voices of Academy Award®-winning actor Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudykas Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino, fans have a chance to be among of the first to see the full soundtrack come to life at special Early Access Screenings of “Wish” taking place this Saturday, November 18, at 750 theaters across the country. Tickets to the screenings are now available at http://Fandango.com/DisneyWishEarlyAccess.
The movie will release in theaters on November 22! I love the idea of this campaign, but I feel like by releasing the songs they have taken away from the experience of hearing them for the first time play out on screen. That is one of my favorite parts of a Disney movie musical.
