Zac Efron Receives Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Zac Efron received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today, December 11 in Hollwyood. The star was all smiles as he accepted the star alongside his friends, Miles Teller and Jeremy Allen White.
During his acceptance speech, the actor thanked Director Kenny Ortega and Producer Bill Borden for casting him in High School Musical saying, “[Kenny Ortega and Bill Borden], you guys were both instrumental in giving me my start in Highschool Musical. I still think about it everyday, I still sing the songs in the shower. Go Wildcats!”
He also honored the late Matthew Perry during his speech saying “[He] was so kind and generous with me when we worked on 17 Again. Collaborating with him and [director] Burr Steers, it was really so much fun and it really did propel me and motivate me in so many ways. It really pushed me to the next chapter of my career. So thank you so much for that Matthew. Thinking of you a lot today.”
