Elle Fanning Promotes Appropriate With W Magazine

Elle Fanning is featured in a new article for W magazine. The actress is in the magazine to promote her Broadway debut in Appropriate. Highlights from her interview are below.

On her character River: “She can easily be written off, especially in the beginning. She honestly might be the most level-headed person in the play. The things she talks about are actually quite beautiful”

On how the stage differs then filming in front of a camera: “If something does go wrong, you get to do it again the next day. After you film a scene for a movie, you go to bed and think, ‘Oh no, I should have done that differently,’ but it’s over, there’s no turning back.”

On being nominated for a Golden Globe for The Great: “It’s a nice, final huzzah to celebrate Catherine. I woke up the morning of the nominations and I didn’t know it was happening. I had so many texts and I was like, ‘This is either something really bad or really good.’”
