Selena Gomez Talks Her Career on the ‘SmartLess’ Podcast

To kick off the New Year, the SmartLess podcast has released its first episode of the year, and it features a familiar face. Selena Gomez sat down with hosts, Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, to talk about her career and what’s to come in 2024.

During the chat, the actress revealed that she initially only wanted to be an actress. Gomez said, “I wanted to be an actress, I never really intended on being a singer full-time but apparently that hobby turned into something else. I don’t think I’m the best singer but I do know how to tell stories and I love being able to make songs.”

When asked if Gomez would pick between her acting career and her singing career, Gomez told the trio, “I do feel like I have one more album in me but I would probably choose acting.”
