Kristen Stewart Covers Variety

Kristen Stewart is on the cover of Variety. The actress is on the cover to promote her new films debuting at the Sundance Film Festival later this month, Love Me and Love Lies Bleeding. Highlights from her interview are below.

On opting to enjoy the entire Sundance Film Festival run: “I can go meet fledgling filmmakers and actually experience Sundance the way that it’s talked about — as a breeding ground for connection — and, I don’t know, get drunk and yell at each other, and be like, ‘What did you think of that movie for real? There’s no journalists present,’ I’m going to be real with you.”

On working with Steven Yeun in Love Me: “Steven and I took on very binary roles, which was very surprising with a movie about identity. I felt this desperate girl thing so often, and Steven was so pragmatic about everything. I was like, ‘Oh God, biology exists for sure.'”
