Marvel Studios Announces the Cast of ‘Fantastic Four’

After months of speculation, Marvel Studios has finally announced the cast of its new movie, Fantastic Four. Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn, who have been rumored to be starring in the movie for weeks, were finally announced by the studio today, February 14.

Pascal will be playing Reed Richards (aka Mr. Fantastic), Kirby will star as Sue Storm (aka the Invisible Woman), Quinn as Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch) and Moss-Bachrach will be playing Ben Grimm (aka the Thing). Specific details regarding the plot are being kept under wraps, but I really hope this isn’t an origin story. I don’t need to know how they became Marvel’s First Family. Just have them already be Marvel’s First Family and create something entertaining.

The movie will be released to theaters on July 25, 2025. The Thunderbolts release date, which was originally July 25, has been moved to May 2, 2025.

The announcement seems a little lackluster. These names have basically been confirmed for weeks, so the excitement for me wore off weeks ago. Now, it just seems like a regular casting announcement. What do you guys think?
